==H.R. 3116 (113th Congress)== The MODDERN Cures (Modernizing Our Drug and Diagnostics Evaluation and Regulatory Network) Cures Act was reintroduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on September 17, 2013 by Representative Leonard Lance of the seventh district of New Jersey with 15 original cosponsors. This legislation is intended to promote the development of meaningful treatments for people living with chronic diseases and disabilities. Two elements of the MODDERN Cures Act were approved by Congress and signed into law as part of H.R. 4302: the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014.
